"I think Obama wins and I think he gets over 350 electoral votes. I think Democrats pick up, it's easier to say four or five, but I'll go out on a limb and say they pick up eight seats, seven to eight seats in the Senate. And about 20 to 30 seats in the House. I think it's going to be a huge, huge Democratic wave."

I'm not as optimistic, but I do think Obama wins.

I think it'll be Kerry states + Iowa + New Mexico, and then one or two of the following states:
Colorado /// Ohio /// Virginia /// Nevada
(Nevada would be a 269-269 tie, but we'd win easily in the House's tiebreaker vote.)

My Senate prediction? 4 or 5 additional seats.
House? 10 to 15 more seats

Much of Markos' reputation, in Washington and the media, is predicated upon his insightful wonkery with numbers and trends. He's just that good.
