Gossip wingnut's delicious PRE-speech take on the Rethug convention
From the oldest-person-named-"Cindy". This was written BEFORE the lipsticked-pitbull delivered THE SPEECH that changed the whole game (for the dastardly WORST). So its glib put-downs seem quaint in this morning. Sigh.

I AM NOT WOWED BY RNC, PALIN OR ALASKA

ST. PAUL - We speak now of half-baked Alaska. Having been there, I know its residents are loving people. It's just that to them higher education is learning how to get their pants on over their skis. Even the major cities of Juneau and Fairbanks don't do dinner parties. Know why? Because folks can't spell RSVP. Kill me, beat me, I will never mention the Alaskan grandmother who went on the pill because she didn't want more grandchildren. ....

Everyone's dishing this lady whose background for maybe being commander in chief is having been mayor of a town so small that Kid Rock has more people in his bed alone. ....

A difference between the Democratic and Republican conventions?

...the age difference. Denver was Anne Hathaway. St. Paul, Jon Voight. Spying a contemporary here, Pat Boone said: "Hey, we both have great taxidermists." One promoter, whose job was to collar celebrities, was handed a list. She said, "This one's dead, that one's dead. Not dead just careerwise. Dead as in terms of not living anymore." ....

...Of speaker Joe Lieberman, it was whispered: "We heard his wife Hadassah hoped to make the White House kosher." ....
