Are They Gonna Steal It Again?!
Edited on Wed Sep-03-08 08:37 PM by balantz
The Dems have the votes to win, just like in 2000 and just like in 2004.

With McCain alone another stolen election could not be shoved down our throats, but by "making history" with a Palin choice for VP they now have the excuse they need to steal it once again.

Election reform never happened, the poll numbers cannot be trusted, and Palin will get McCain's vote numbers up just enough to make a steal look legit.

Do you think they're gonna do it again, and Palin is their cover?!

I wonder how many robberies, accidents and assaults happened across that tri-state area, what with the FIVE layers of various state baton-sporting police a mile long guarding the Fuhrer?

It didn't stop a snowball from hitting Cheney's limo, though. You should have seen them all scramble like rats!

3. You know they're trying. Reports are that massive vote caging is
happening all over the country again; African Americans in particular are being dumped from the voter rolls in record numbers.
I think it's also why they're trying to make the polls look 'close' so it will be at least marginally plausible if a few thousand votes here and there manage to flip to McAnus, like they did to Idiot Boy in 2000 and 2004.

People in the swing states.... Can you find out if there will be a sufficient number of machines in the densely populated districts?.... Around the colleges?... minority areas?

We are going to have to vote WAY past the margin of error. It will be very hard to steal (at least this one last time) if the numbers are high enough.

If we lose this one, all the criminality will be cemented into the system and it will not be dislodged without a civil war....

10. Yes, They Are.
And when it happens, I hope the people of this country will actually stand up and DO something about it.

But if history is any indicator, there will be a short time of hand-wringing and gnashing of teeth, before everyone settles back into the comfortable denial that it's all just a conspiracy theory dreamed up by the Tin-Foil Hat crowd.

Then it will be back to American Idol, Reality TV, Sports Worship, and the Cheeseburgers and Beer that will still be flowing freely to salve the conscience of the People Who Thought They Were Free.

After all, comfort and false paradigms must be maintained at ALL COST.

We wouldn't want to be seen as Radicals like the Forefathers were.

16. If you go to this site...
http://www.verifiedvoting.org/index.php

you can see what voting systems are used in every county in every state. There are also links to the SOS in each state. While not perfect there are now 18 states that have legislated mandatory audits after each election. 31 states, more than half the population has a voter verified paper record, though without any audit it's kind of useless. The remaining states have no record, and no way to conduct a recount. I believe that unless we the people in our respective states demand that our own state legislators and Secretary of State, provide us with voting systems that accurately tabulate our votes nothing will change. Rush Holt now has proposed yet another bill in Congress to offer states that would like to either add paper, or add audits, federal money to adopt those changes. Nothing will come of that either, if law-makers feel no pressure to do so.
This election may be impacted more on the central computerized voter registrations than on tampering with the vote count. It is suggested that any new registered voter, and even those that have been registered for a long time, check their registration and make sure their information is accurate before the election.

In 1999, American Information Systems (AIS), purchased Business Records Corp (BRC) to become ES&S
American Information Systems (AIS):
AIS (1980) was formerly Data Mark (1979), both founded by brothers Bob and Todd Urosevich. Bob is currently president of Diebold (see below). Todd Urosevich is Vice President, Aftermarket Sales of ES&S.
AIS was primarily funded with money from Ahmanson brothers, William and Robert, of H.F. Ahmanson Co. (Howard ?), holding company for the nation's largest savings and loan association and a group of Omaha-based insurance companies, at the time. http://www.essvote.com/index.php?section=exec&rightnav=about&f_exec_id=4
Howard Ahmanson belongs to Council for National Policy (hard right wing organization) http://www.ifas.org/cnp/name98.html . Howard Ahmanson also helps finance The Chalcedon Institute: "Established in 1965, Chalcedon (kal-SEE-dun) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) and Christian educational organization devoted to research, publishing, and promoting Christian reconstruction in all areas of life... Our emphasis on the Cultural or Dominion Mandate (Genesis 1:28) and the necessity of a return to Biblical Law has been a a crucial factor in the challenge to Humanism by Christians in this country and elsewhere... A world that is increasingly pessimistic and disillusioned with the failure of secular Humanism is now feeling the impact of Christians who are exercising dominion and reclaiming lost spheres of authority for Christ the King." http://www.chalcedon.edu / / critical profile: the organization's purpose is to establish Old Testament Biblical law as the standard for society. Chalcedon promotes Christian Reconstructionism -- which mandates Christ's dominion over all the world. http://www.ifas.org/fw/9501/chalcedon.html

better yet, with links and validated, independently vetted resources, I'm sure you'll be happy to illustrate for us how all of the evidence that points to the fact that not only 2000 was stolen, but also 2004, was all just a big coincidence.

Unless you have real information, please, just shut the fuck up.

about Presidential Elections...

IT is NOT the majority vote that elects a President, but the Electoral College...

See them Electoral Votes

Once you get this VERY BASIC info we can go on to the advanced subjects, such as voter suppression and other ways to manipulate the vote

By the way... why did the USSC intervene in 2000 and STOP the count? Ever asked yourself this? After all Al Gore WON the popular vote.... see above about Electoral College

You MIGHT want to read the Constitution... I know your head will hurt with all them fancy words

Nothing substantial has changed, except that the Right succeeded in painting Exit Polls as untrustworthy.

So, once again, the Neocons will do their best to steal it, and if they succeed, 'Murka will fart, scratch, and say, "that Sarah Palin shore is purty".
