3. It's not that 'they're' that simple

It's that they're aiming for voters who haven't thought about politics since at least 2004, and who at that time thought no more deeply than "I'm voting Republican."

Their targets are the ones who hear Limbaugh and Hannity et al fume about Liberals as the source of all evil and the sole locus of corruption in all of DC and the guvmint in general. What we need now is John McCain, who will rein in these godless, queer-loving Liberals, before Saddam Hussein has the chance to bomb any more of our buildings.
