What's galling is this: When the subject is a pregnancy to an unwed, minority teenage mother growing up in some (presumably Democratic) urban area, that pregnancy becomes fodder for lectures from conservatives about bad parenting, the perils of welfare spending and so on. But when the subject is a pregnancy to an unwed, white teenager from some small town in a Republican state, that pregnancy is...a celebration of the wonders of God's magnificence--and choosing life!

On the pinhead front, 16-year-old Jamie Lynn Spears is pregnant. The
sister of Britney says she is shocked. I bet.

Now most teens are pinheads in some ways. But here the blame falls
primarily on the parents of the girl, who obviously have little control over
her or even over Britney Spears. Look at the way she behaves.

Last night, O'Reilly was beside himself that anyone would publicly discuss
Bristol Palin's pregnancy.

I live in an urban area in a democratic state and trust me - our government doesn't give a shit about these girls who find themselves undeage & pregnant. They're poor, they are mainly minority and they just don't count in the republican world. But Sarah Palin wants to make it even MORE difficult for these girls.

My question is this...last time I checked when an 18 year old has sex with a minor that is considered statutory rape and the young man is arrested yet in the Republican World he is invited to the VIP box of the convention. How does that work?

They constantly talk about the moral fiber of America yet we have an UNWED, PREGNANT TEEN wanting to move into Washington and people are ok with it. Oh I know how to make it better, make them get married - GOOD ANSWER!

And yes I am going to go there..5 months pregnant and now is when the mother finds out..what is it Mrs. Palin you are too busy with the responsibilities of a state with about 25k inhabitants to know what is going on in your daughter's life. Had she had access to sex education maybe this might have been avoided..oh yea you are against it - HOW IS THAT WORKING FOR YA?!?!

The biggest insult is they actually believe that the American people won't see right thru this...yes that we are that STUPID! Guess what? WE AREN'T
