If you think Fred is boring...image heavy warning
Edited on Tue Sep-02-08 09:43 PM by MichaelHarris
how about scenes from my little slice of America?

©Michael Harris

I mean it's not as good as eating moose and stuff but it may keep you awake. Now for a little secret, I'm off this weekend on a project but when I get back I just may, if I can squeeze it in take a little trip to a place called Wasilla, Alaska. No real reason, just thought I would do a little photo essay of small town America. It's still America up there right? Will I need a passport?

16. thank you
I will, it's a thing that takes many shapes as time goes by. The portraits of the farmers and the families have proven pretty hard to get.

9. Whao, where were these pictures taken?
A couple of those pictures look like they were taken in Eastern Washington... maybe not but a dead ringer never the less.

12. No way!!
It looks like Pullman or Colfax vicinity.

I'm freaking out, I live in E. Washington (Odessa-Harrington) too and I forget how beautiful it looks taken with a good camera.

15. LOL
it's in and around Pullman. Have you ever been to Farmington? There is this beautiful old pink house, I'll dig up a shot of it.

18. The closest I've been recently is St. John/Endicott
I have been around that area, I have seen many post-card barns and frontier houses. I probably should take some pictures, the cliffs and bluffs around here are gorgeous. I tent to under estimate the beaty of E. Washington.

21. beautiful pictures, as to the passport
I'm not sure if you need one to cross the border while driving into Canada then out of Canada into the U.S. of A. on the other side.
