How fucking funny would it be if Liberman took the stage and when on a rant about how fucking incompetent the Repukes are and how they all can kiss his ass? It will never happen, but it would be awesome.

5. He's willing to overlook the 99% difference between his beliefs and that party
for the 1% that is evidently more precious than integrity. Yeah it'd be great but as you say, it'll never happen.

6. Joe Lieberman's path from the Democratic Party to where he is now....
...was based on going on Sean Hannity's shows and telling Hannity what he wanted to hear. So I'm not expecting Lieberman to tell the Republican delegates anything they don't want to hear.

8. I think it's likely that he will switch parties tonight.
He sees the handwriting on the wall for him after November, and his fate from the Dems.

If he switched parties that would mean we would lose the Senate.

We have control of all of the committees until January '09. And then we'll have an even bigger margin. Between now and when Congress adjourns in early December? Only about 3 months. It's not like the Senate is doing anything much now anyway, with the Repugs holding everything up.

11. Didn't Bush once privately say he wanted to screw Bin Laden up the ass, when they caught the guy?
So the cartoonish tough-guy stuff isn't exactly foreign to him, in private or in public ("Bring it on!").

16. It would also be cool if McCain announced that he was stepping down to marry Cheney and raise goats
and that he endorsed Obama in the coming election. However, it's not going to happen.
