My head is going to slowly but steadily explode over the next few days
I am going to hear how well qualified Sarah Palin is to be vice president. I am going to hear how no matter what sort of shit her kids are into, she's the great pick of a genius presidential candidate. I am going to hear that she has judgment (experience no longer being an issue). I'm going to hear family mooseburger recipes and the gifted nature of the future ice road trucker son-in-law-to-be.

I will hear that Barack Obama is a Muslim and that Joe Biden is a bully who is going to beat up on poor Sarah.

The Repubicans will be kitchen sinking it for a while. The meme makers are hard at work, led by chief elf, Frank Luntz, focus group testing every piece of shit they can. In the mean time, we get to hear it all ...... raw.

Maybe we just need to wave **these** at them:

Because, going all the way to its ORIGINAL meaning, they're desperate to put lipstick on this pig.

NOTICE TO THE HUMOR CHALLENGED: this post is meant in a non-geneder way, to refer to the fact of picking such a bad candidate for veep, not to the less serious issues surrounding her. I was intended to be very much in line with this definition from wikipedia "The phrase "putting lipstick on a pig" is an American colloquialism that means, "making the unattractive superficially attractive," with overtones of futility or of a lost cause. (You can put lipstick on a pig, but in the end, it's still a pig.)"

2. I'm seeing this with most political junkies
we are overloaded with so much bs that we're walking around dumbfounded. Thankfully the Obama campaign has these republican "piggies" by the tail or some other "piggy" part.

9. I know this may make alot of voters sympathize with Palin and her
daughter, geez, I hope not, she is clearly not the correct or qualified choice to be VP.

6. Those slow, steady head explosions are the worst.
You hang in there for a couple of days and think "Well, this won't go on for much longer". But does it stop? No. It just slowly and steadily builds up, day after day, hour after hour, minute by minute, until........"BAM"! :nuke: Then there's a real mess to clean up.
