Hadassah Lieberman supports McCain because she was hurt by Dems
Edited on Tue Sep-02-08 04:24 AM by JI7
not supporting her husband in the Senate Election . i wonder how much this has to do with Lieberman's support for McCain now also. and i haven't heard from Lieberman since Mccain picked Palin for VP. has he commented on that yet ? is he upset it wasn't him ?

<When the Democratic Party picked Ned Lamont over Joe Lieberman, the Connecticut senator's wife felt “hurt.” Soon after, she changed her registration from Democrat to Independent, which is what she was before marrying Lieberman.

Earlier today, she spoke at a Republican Jewish Coalition luncheon. But Hadassah Lieberman is quick to tell you she's not there necessarily to support the Republican Party.

“I really don't know what I plan to do,” she said when asked if she will now be working with the Republican Jewish Coalition and not the National Jewish Democratic Council.

When asked if she is endorsing McCain, Lieberman declined. "I love John. I hope he wins, but I'm not officially endorsing him because I'm not official.">

1. If Obama/Biden wins in November, the Liebermans are on a
fast track to total obscurity.

Which is exactly where I feel they should be.

3. They did support him in the primary
They all did. Hillary, Obama, Kerry, Boxer, etc. But when Connecticut Democrats picked another nominee, the Senators followed the lead of the people and backed Lamont.

6. Tough shit.
I'm sure the thought has never occurred to her that her husband should have supported Democrats. Actions have consequences.

Edited on Tue Sep-02-08 04:37 AM by fujiyama
They both need to leave. Can't wait till we have a Lieber proof majority in the senate. Harry Reid better grow a fucking pair and tell his old friend to fuck off. Otherwise Harry himself should be replaced ASAP.

13. Power monger Joe is going to play *this game* for another four years
Who would be a good replacement for Reid? Senators I like are Brown, Webb, Boxer, Harken. I don't know if Harken is crafty enough. Boxer would be aggressive enough. Perfect name for an ass kicker.

15. I have heard Dodd being tossed around
and otherwise Derbin. Both would be fine replacements. Dodd proved himself during the FISA debate. I think he'd be much stronger. But of course, being from CT complicates things. I'm not sure how he'd react as well. Either way, Lieberman has to leave come November. This is getting unacceptable and ridiculous.
