17. See,
I don't understand what the hurricane has to do with his speaking at the convention. It's not like he can go to the affected area - he can't, and if he tried, he and his fucking entourage would just use up valuable space and resources. So, what's to keep him from speaking at the convention?

Even if he did it via satellite from the White House.

They're using Gustav as as excuse to keep the mofo away from the convention. They're already aware of how puny they're gonna look next to our show in Denver.

4. Good plan
Because I'm sure that going there would only remind him of all the things he COULD have done to help re-structure the levies, and show him the leftover remnants of Katrina.

10. He won't so McCain can have the limelight to himself.
He's trying to protect his legacy through McCain, since he knows McCain will continue his policies.

he is letting McCain act as president anyway.

22. So, he skipped the Convention because of the hurricane and skipped the hurricane because of?
Just where is he going to spend next week? Maybe at the hogfarm? The Republicans don't want him at their own Convention, hell, most Republicans don't want to attend the Republican Convention.

Wouldn't it be funny if they held the Convention and the only people who showed up were the news media, and they relied on FOX for all of their information?

25. President AWOL strikes again
Brave Sir Dubya ran away
Bravely ran away, away
When danger reared its ugly head
He bravely turned his tail and fled
Yes, brave Sir Dubya turned about
And gallantly he chickened out
Bravely taking to his feet
He beat a very brave retreat
Bravest of the brave, Sir Dubya
