I Hope Gustav Peters Out And Becomes A Sprinkle
making McInsane look like an idiot. Or would they credit him for stopping a hurricane?

2. That would be hilarious!
But I'm sure the media would go on and on about how he was willing to "sacrifice" his convention
for other Murikans. :puke:

I think he's GLAD that Bush and Cheney won't be there. They are NOT going to help him one bit! ;-)

3. I agree
If this storm doesn't materialize as the disaster they're hoping for, they'll actually have to slink back to Minneapolis and hold a convention, which they know couldn't possibly live up to Denver.

6. And they really don't want to do that
They are delighted that this storm is providing diversion.

7. Remember when Katrina hit NOLA, afterwards the media thought
there was minimal damage. They were saying NOLA weathered the storm. Then when the levees broke, all hell broke lose. I hope that doesn't happen this time. And NOLA gets the bad side of the storm of Gustav. They didn't with Katrina and look what happened.
