Gustav. The repukes couldn't have asked for a better set up. They know there is no way their convention can top ours. Now they have an excuse and can try to turn it into a positive, using their 'logic.' We gave up our celebratory convention out of concern for the Gulf residents. Remember no golf?

1. CNN now reporting that the GOP will also
pull their campaign ads off of the air. I just flipped through the channels and they are lapping this all up. Poor John, he won't be able to get his message out this week.

2. Maybe this is an Eagleton thing.
The nomination of Palin may have overwhelmed the RNC not to mention the sucess of the Democratic convention. The don't have time to regroup before Monday so they need this distraction.
