The Republicans take up Obama's message: It's not about Left and right,
It's about America.
It's a new message for them and I'm sure there are heads exploding throughout the RW constituency.
Even if this may only be seen for a few days, it's good to see all the same. It's still sad in a way because here in the election system we have today, we're going to see a riot of who does the most for the souls affected by this impending disaster. Why couldn't it have been this way three years ago?
There would be a lot more people alive today if it was this way.
1. Yes, Obama's succeeded wildly at reclaiming national pride for EVERYONE
So now the Republicans need to pretend to play nice otherwise they'd just look like the douchebags they are if they went with their standard MO of claiming they're the only ones who support the troops, love America and family values.
But, hey, if we can embarrass them into taking up real human values, fair enough. Let's keep on doing what we're doing and elect Barack and keep the snowball rolling.
4. Obama is forcing them to evolve...which is change I can believe in.
What are the odds that the republicans would have considered a female on their ticket if Obama wasn't the Democratic nominee? Of course it would have been better to pick a woman who could actually do the job, but baby steps everyone. Baby steps.
Now the republicans are beginning to realize Obama's message of unity is actually a good thing? I'm proud of them. :D
they can't erase the memory or the reality of what they have done to this country. The more they bloviate the angrier I get at their total lack of concern for the American people and this country.
