Poll question: How long till Ms. Palin drops out? Poll
To me at least it seems that Gov. Palin is the gift that keeps giving and
that McCain's total lack of vetting her has all but assured that "something"
will be done to "stop the bleeding." If only 1/4 of the stories about her
are true than she seems like damaged goods.

Although, I might be wrong and she will go on to be Veep than President
and after that discover a cure for cancer and global warming. ... or maybe
not.

2. I'm waiting to see on this.
With the rousing welcome and orgasmic welcome whe's received from the MSM, she could be in there for the count. Scary thought. We are a nation of stupid people and they just seem to be eating up her "story".

3. She will drop out after the first VP debate.
Biden is going to run circles around her without even trying. She is so far out of her league it's laughable (the whole "living near Russia thing" notwithstanding). Then add Hillary Clinton to the mix, and well, I just don't see her being able to stand the political heat.

4. if she's still the pick at the RNCC then she'll tough it out till the end
but I would not be at all surprised to see the ticket change between now and the end of the RNCC.

14. ...the lack of experience?
McCain's frailty making the VP position more important?
that this may all have been a game the party heads were playing, to distract the media from the DNCC success, Gustav, the slow self-destruction of the republican party, and McCain's 72nd?
that the glamor of having a female nominee has begun to wear off and people have begun to realize that she's not someone they would want in charge?

5. The GOP Dumps Her
Either during or preferably before the convention starts. Then they don't nominate McCain. Romney and/or Huckabee are nominated from the floor. Smoke filled rooms. (Arson is suspected). End of the GOP: Priceless!

10. Regardless of the outcome
she can always go back to being Ms. Alaska, provided they have a middle-aged category.

16. Are you kidding?? She's going NOWHERE. She has mobilized the GOP base -
- and the money is pouring in for McCain, reported at $7 Mil yesterday. Do you really think they'll slaughter their cash cow?

17. hmm yes but does she actually need to serve in order to cash in on that?
or does nearly-serving but dropping out for family reasons count for something?
