Has Anyone Heard How Traffic Out of the Panhandle is?
I am trying to find info on the Northbound/Westbound traffic from the Florida panhandle. Are people evacuating from there? I have family down there on vacation, and am wondering what kind of mess the could be getting into leaving tomorrow. Thanks for any info, I haven't seen anything on the internet, yet.

1. There's no evacuation from the FL panhandle

nor is there any reason to. All efforts are focused in Louisiana. I believe they are encouraging people to evacuate from Louisiana to the East and the North, but not to the West due to the storm's track. Contra traffic flow is in effect out of NOLA, but that's all. Depends on where your family's headed when they leave. They just should not head towards NOLA.

2. There's nothing much expected here, so I doubt traffic will be any worse
than any other holiday weekend.

4. We have not been told to evacuate here
It will not get that bad here but things can change rapidly so I am keeping a close eye on it.
