9. Honestly, it might help us politically.

Certainly it's a cold thing to say. Certainly you aren't SUPPOSED to say it. But it might be true. Katrina helped the Democrats ALOT. Bush's approval rating dropped dramatically. That helped the Democrats.

Is it making light of a terrible situation? Absolutely. Is it wrong to think of human life as calously as percentage points in the polls? Of course it is. Very wrong.

But it's only being realistic to say that it might help our side, politically. We can pretend it won't all we want, but it certainly might.

Of course, I didn't read your first message, you may have been dancing with joy that a giant storm was about to hit us... I hope not.

We are so happy to have company with good people as you all are here. Mr. would not ,in his wildest dreams, want anyone to misunderstand his title, but will surely be careful in the future. We are in the line of these storms also, but not in the situation that is in the gulf states. Both of us are very concerned about this storm. It looks as if most people are able to get out, but it must be hard to leave your home and some pets behind. I wonder if all people will get out.... Mrs. Moose
