We're fine - no damage here and just a little inconvenience with no power from late Thursday night until late yesterday evening.

People near rivers and people in the hills that are prone to mudslides have really suffered. Many people died as homes crashed into rivers or mudslides destroyed their homes. It was a bad rain event, but clearly we got off much better than Cuba or wherever it is going to hit in the US.
