Suggested DU Group topic: Hope!

I would like to suggest a new DU group.

Most of the other groups are only viewed by certain divisions within DU, which is fine, but Hope, which is Barack Obama's theme in his campaign, is a universal subject. In this group, we could discuss tales of how we overcame adversity in our lives, how our heroes in the Democratic Party and elsewhere were able to succeed so well, and encourage each other in a positive, and hopeful manner. This is being started during Obama's historic campaign for the Presidency, but could be continued indefinitely as a constant source of inspiration for each one of us, whether we don't know what we are going to do about big life issues, or if we just want one more push to get us through another day.

I suggest using the above paragraph, or something close to it, as the mission statement. The exclamation point after the word Hope in the title is debatable, as well.

We have to get at least 10 people to agree to actively participate in the group by replying in the affirmative in this thread.
