Palin Colleagues Speek of her Experience Achievements and Legislative Co-operation
Source: PBS: News Hour w/ Jim Lehrer

Three colleagues of Gov. Palin were interviewed and spoke bluntly of their personal experience with McCain's VP nominee.
-Kaylene Johnson author of Palin biography "Sarah"
-Michael Carey of the Anchorage Daily News
-Lindsey Holmes (D) AK State Rep

Michael Carey: "When she became governor, she still is criticized as somebody who's not a good administrator, who's not particularly hands-on, who doesn't know the ins and outs of the government."

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
JUDY WOODRUFF: Representative Holmes, you're a Democrat, serving in the state legislature, working with her. What's it like to work with her?

LINDSEY HOLMES (D), Alaska State Representative: Well, you know, she and I actually came in at the same time. We've both been in office for about a year-and-a-half. And it's a big transition, honestly, to go from a small town mayor to the governor of the largest state in the union. And so there's been a steep learning curve for her.

I think I would characterize it as sort of two steps forward, one step back. We've been working hard to sort of improve communication between the executive and legislative branches. And sometimes that's been successful, and other times it's broken down.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Her relationship with State Legislators is referred to as "hands-off" and that she has a "lack of communication" which hinders the legislative process.

**Must View Interview in Full**

Issues discussed were Palin's experience or lack thereof, her co-operation with colleagues, and achievements on the Alaska Oil and Gas Commission.

1. And so there's been a steep learning curve for her.
Not a good sign...

2. The largest state in the union, huh?
Oh, he meant land area. My bad. That makes a difference. I thought he was talking about California.

3. McCain thinks all women are bimbos
John McCain has a disturbing pattern of treating women as nothing but airheaded, disposable arm candy.

McCain’s first wife, Carol, was a swimwear model, not the most respectful “job” for a woman. He displayed her with pride to his buddies, flaunting her sexuality as if “having” her made him a man.

And when Carol was disfigured and crippled in a car accident, McCallous had affairs with numerous women, finally settling on a rodeo beauty queen 18-years-his-junior. He married Cindy, the silicone-chested, botox-faced beer heiress before the ink was dry on the divorce from his first wife. Cindy became a well-known drug addict.

Now he picks Sarah Palin as his running mate, a vacuous former beauty queen whose qualifications include competing in the Miss Alaska pageant.
Apparently, McLame thinks women are so dumb that we’ll vote for him simply because he picked someone with a vagina as his running mate.

Someone should have told him he was supposed to be picking a vice presidential candidate, not his third wife.
