This is just such an absolutely bizarre display (especially with some of the quotes from the VP acceptance speech and rally, and admitting that I know nothing at all about this Palin, and had never heard of her), it really is like some bigot male's opinion that "they are all alike, you can't tell one from the other," I am flabbergasted that they think that any pro-choice, liberal, feminist Democratic Hillary supporter is going to flip completely, and go for this archconservative, anti-woman Republican, what? One good thing is, it shows they are totally panicking, and don't know which way to turn. McCain flips and supports things once too-conservative, to get them; then flips back and pretends to have disagreed with Bush; then flips to consider a pro-choice VP, now flips and takes an extremist who does not even want it for rape victims, but a woman! They don't know what to do; I think they have been totally shocked by how well the Democratic Convention went, with many great speeches, unity, and huge popular support.
To know that this is the male Republican Party's opinion of women, though, that one "bitch" is just like another, is disgusting, and is actually their attitude. She called Hillary Clinton "dishonest" and that she was "whining" some months ago, I have heard tonight; now at the VP speech, it was all "18 million cracks in the glass ceiling" (Hillary Clinton's line) and how "we women" "aren't done yet"--like she is suddenly now a temporary "feminist," just to trick 'em; disgusting. Hillary Clinton should make an ad, of her comments that she did not endorse the McCain use of her earlier comment on Obama, and now this with this Palin. Every woman should understand the clear message from Republicans on their true attitudes, here--they are NEVER your friend.
