45 Years ago today Dr. Martin Luther King Jr's "I have a dream"
speech rang out to Americans for the first time. What a historic day! I don't know what took so long to arrive at this day, but I am very proud.

Dr. King said if America is to be the great Nation she proclaims to be or hopes to be people must be judged by their character and not the color of their skin.

Obama makes me proud. So does Biden. Character, that's what it is about. It is about so much more as well. History, as Bill Clinton said last night, is on our side.

God willing Americans will again turn out in record numbers and their votes will be counted fairly.

Regardless, this is history in the making. What a beautiful sight to see! How wonderful that Obama's speech tonight coincides with Dr. King's speech then.

Peace.
