So gopers are skeered that McCain is gonna pick Lieberman I-CON as the running-mate, and reportedly Rove himself approached Joe to ask (command?) him to tell McCain not to pick him (I-Con Joe, not rove), and I-Con Joe refused!!!

I find this particularly deliciously funny given Rove's reported role in spurring I-Con Joe to keep running for the senate in Connecticut even after he lost the democratic primary vote.

Karl, didn't you figure out it has always ONLY been about ICon Joe - and no party matters? If he was willing to throw one party under the bus (at your urging), why the heck would he NOT be willing to throw the other party under the bus?

ha. ha. ha. ha. ha.

Seriously, McCain would be an idiot to chose the I-Con senator as a running-mate (okay, we know he is an idiot, so he would just be an even bigger one). And if he chooses Lieberman, I'll be laughing even harder.

3. only wish he was viewing the collapse
from a jail cell. But in absence of that - I will so relish watching the long slow implosion of the "one-party regime" dream that rove believed that he had engineered.

4. So, what you're saying is...
...that we should expect, any day now, that the media will start running stories about the division in the Republican party, based around whether John McSame should choose Lieberman as his VP?

No? Why not?

Oh, right - Lieberman's "not a Republican." Sure, he isn't. :eyes:
