3. Remember
When John Stewart went on Crossfire a few years ago? I'd love for Bill to have him on, and ONLY him for a full hour!

6. he's a comedian, he's on the road half the year
especially in the "fun cities".

I've seen Maher on Conan and Letterman a bunch over the past few years, both New York shows. And he was in Denver (where Jon is) previously this week.

7. His ego is bigger than the nation debt
Stewart is more intelligent, more informed and more funny. Maher's worst nightmare.

10. He used to work for Comedy Central - not sure of the terms
He used to work for Comedy Central and had a program "Politically Incorrect" - I am not sure of the terms of the separation from Comedy Central, but his show then went to ABC. I suspect that he has some contractual obligation for a certain number of years and/or has some acrimony over the situation with his show on Comedy Central.
