There is something disturbing that we are going to select our Presidential candidates
at Pepsi center and at Xcel center (Xcel is a major gas company in the Midwest).

It is one thing to have ball games with corporate sponsors. But electing our candidates is, should be, the most democratic process.

I hope we don't start finding ads in the voting booths.

I am lamenting the fact that these arenas were named like that for exchange of money.

At least in NY it is still Madison Square Garden.

So says a TV ad I keep seeing, I believe it's for a credit card.

Luckily, consumerism is a self-correcting disease. Those who survive an outbreak usually don't fall ill again.
