The thought is mindboggling. I'm going back to Chicago to visit some South Side friends next month. They live about a mile north of the park and huge Sox fans. I hope that they're both still in contention then. That'll be fun because we'll be hooking up with some of my Cubs fan friends also. hehehehe

Don't tell anyone...especially my other Sox fans comrades, I'm hoping this is the Cub's year (but I get a feeling they do as well). The monkey got off our back and now here's hoping the Billy Goat is off theirs as well. My late father had just returned from WWII and was let into the World Series for free. The irony was he never got to see a World Series championship in this city in his 84 years.

I'm ready for one hell of a party this fall...with Cub, Sox and Obama fans across the country.
