Limbaugh's contract threatened?

Though still at the rumor stage, allegations of Rush Limbaugh's long history of dalliances with young boys may be threatening his contract and career.

An unidentified source close to Premiere Radio Networks, Limbaugh's syndicator, stated that there is a strict morals clause in his recent 400+ million dollar contract, imposed as a result of his drug addiction and its attendant scandal. Senior staff at Premiere are said to be "concerned" about the rumors and are prepared to revoke his contract should an internal investigation provide any tangible evidence of wrongdoing.

Premiere is also concerned about advertising revenue, said to be suffering as a result of the rumors, and a General Motors executive, requesting anonimity, told us that the company is prepared to yank its sponsorship "at the slightest hint of impropriety".

Limbaugh's contract is set to expire in 2016, but the Premiere source asserted that the morals clause is "absolute" and that "it not only severs his pay and benefits, but, in fact, imposes sanctions and penalties" on Mr. Limbaugh. He would not elaborate.
