Not only are there many homeless people in America, but there are many refugees in the world. Just as some people who aren't homeless sometimes exhibit solidarity with the homeless by sleeping in the street, some Jewish Americans could exhibit solidarity with Palestinian refugees by themselves living as refugees.
There could be a government program to encourage thousands of Jewish Americans to voluntarily become refugees somewhere in the world. The UN would take on the responsibility of feeding them. They could achieve a high fertility rate and, over time, their numbers would double repeatedly. Whenever the government of Israel needed new immigrants, it could offer Israeli citizenship to some of those refugees.
The average American is consuming too much and causing too much harm to the environment. As ordinary Americans, Jewish Americans are part of the over-consumption and environmental degradation problem, so some Jewish Americans could get with the program by adopting the low carbon footprint lifestyle of third-world refugees.
