and if things go well in the debates and campaign we might just turn a few more states our direction

DO NOT LISTEN TO THE MSM VERMIN, they have a different agenda which is not in OURS OR THE COUNTRIES INTEREST

1. The media will do what they do and Democrats must do all they can and give all their effort.
There really is no other choice. The media is unfair, but life is unfair. You just do the best you can, hope for the best, and deal with the results. I don't despair that the media is unfair just as I am not surprised that a dog barks. Such is life.

2. Why is Virginia Red?
By Real clear politics own methodology the state is tied. This is based on the average of the
latest polls. Tied. So why is it in the McCain column.

If anything it should be blue because the latest poll shows a +2 for Obama.

4. That's OK, it gives us more incentive to push this. The point I am trying to make
is that most of the polling information you hear is national polls, not state by state

This particular map has shifted in Obama's favor, which is better than it was a week ago

We are going to win

5. You are right. The MSM was wrong about Iraq, wrong about 2006
wrong about the division in the Democratic party, and wrong about their characterization of the Democratic Convention

ALL OF THIS POINTS TO A VICTORY FOR US IN MY VIEW

6. looking at the state info down below. McSame has a 10 point lead in Texas
approximately. However scroll to the right and you see that Shrub had a better than 22 point lead in 2004 & 2000.

This is why Obama has 3 offices just in Fort Worth. Plus the county party, plus the offices for the down ticket candidates. Our grass roots activity is way way bigger just in our county than the past 2 cycles.

I say to the party, don't give up on Texas. Even if we don't carry Texas it is going to be closer than it has been in years.

polling on land lines isn't tapping into the many many first time voters (or at least first time presidential voters) who don't surf the net and don't have land lines.

Not a statistician here or an expert, just going with my gut.

BTW in this county of over 2 million I have only seen one, maybe two McCain signs of any kind. There are more Ron Paul signs, if anything and old Kinky bumperstickers.

OTOH lots of Hillary and Obama bumperstickers all over the place. There are three people at my church who still have the Kerry-Edwards sticker up ..waiting for the new ticket and the new bumpersticker.

It will be interesting to see how the streets look after next week when the signs go up ..I will be out placing Dan Barrett signs for House District 97 this weekend, it is going to look good over here in the hood because the faithful want those signs. Prior years, folks weren't as eager to have the signs.
My two close neighbors and I will have an official sign planting toast of iced tea when I bring home the signage, with children and everything.

7. You are right. It is a very interesting chart. There are red states which
are much closer for us

Even North Carolina

Things are NOT as bleak as the MSM would want you to believe

What their misrepresentations should do is motivate us even MORE

WE WILL WIN THE WHITE HOUSE
