Sorry, but I do not want bipartisanship
Bipartisanship means seeing eye-to-eye with those filthy, lying, disgusting, survival-of-the-fittest rethugs, and trying to find some common ground. It means we give in a little on our principles, they give in a little on their "principles", and we try to come up with some sort of compromise.

Fuck that. They are wrong on just about every single issue I can think of. In fact, I can't really think of many issues over the past few decades where they've been correct on. Why should we have to lower ourselves simply to work with them? I'd much rather focus on educating the American public on issues such as universal health care, climate change, education, etc. I'd much rather we just let the American public vote these dumbasses out of office. I really hope that after November, we don't have to continue this charade of "making nice" with these people who would gladly lock us all up in internment camps, who call us unpatriotic simply for disagreeing with their illegal wars and torture policies.

1. I never understood the concept
Wouldn't a free society promote partisanship in all its glory? Its the meaning of freedom. Bipartisanship is akin to communism; there may be many parties but they all think and vote alike.

2. Agreed. The Republikkkans need to have their nads mashed to hamburger
and get kicked out into the wilderness for several years.

In the "down-ticket" races, the 'Pukes are gonna be blown out into the next deacde.

3. Remember, after Nixon, Carter got exactly *four* freakin' years before Reagan..
Americans collectively have the intelligence and memory of a spider monkey on meth.

People absolutely HATE painful truth and would far rather hear comforting lies.

Republicans are masters of the comforting lie.

for at least the next two generations.
It will take that long to clean up the mess they have caused. Compromising with them will only provide them the opportunity to derail any cleanup attempts.

You can't compromise with the mentally deranged.

They need to it down and shut up

6. I agree. In fact, sometimes I feel like a war between conservatives
and Liberals is inevitable. Yes. An Uncivil War.

7. I have been saying that for a long time. You can't play nice
with thugs. If you extend your hand to them they will bite it off and spit it back in your face.

8. If that's what "bipartisanship" means, then yah. That's not how Obama uses the term, however.
