Fosh electric car announcement was a big hoax
Remember the thread about the electric car for less than $25,000? It was supposed to be unveiled on August 18th. Well there is no car. It is an anti-Obama site and a really nasty one at that. I wonder how many people they reached with this deceptive tactic.

Article here: "Who is Fosh Automotive and where is their car"

2. I had my doubts about the car but I wouldn't have guessed
that they were political. Their site, incidentally is very offensive, so I didn't post that link.

In the process, they harvested a lot of email addresses.

<For every email we received, "tester list" included, we will donate $5 to SPCA and $2 to the John McCain campaign. Also, for every post on our forum and even those that will be posted in the future, we will donate 25 cents to Jonh's campaign. Here is a big "FU" to the media that is too scared to challenge BHO or any candidate for that matter.>

9. I guess that link is now all over the Internet
and many people will click on it looking for a car. This is disgusting. My son called me to tell me it was a hoax. I had no idea how bad it was though.

10. Didn't Borat use the same marketing strategy to promote the opening of his film.
A fake press conference of some sort?

It really reveals a lack of vetting by media more than anything. More background research=less hoaxing.

12. This is amazing -- I just don't understand the depth of hatred and fear
people have regarding Obama. To go to such extremes...

Thanks for this!
