Right-wing radio host goes after NUN!

On the hour ride home from my parent's house last night, I was scanning the AM dial to find coverage of the convention. We have NO liberal radio in NE Ohio & NPR wasn't covering it. Anyway, I thought I had found something, but it turned out to be Mike Savages show on which he was saying the most horrible things about a NUN! What terrible crime did this woman who had devoted herself to service in the name of God commit? Well, she spoke out against the death penalty! She had accurately described it as racist. Savage claimed that the death penalty is specifically harder to get for minorities! Where does he get his information?!? Don't know if I was more shocked at his blatant lies about the death penalty or his horrible assault on a nun. Sorry, I don't remember her name, but she was the one from "Dead Man Walking." Of course, working with Sean Penn was probably her biggest "sin" to the right-wingers. Their hatred is palpable. The time is coming when they will finally go WAY TOO FAR & be held responsible for the violence they incite.

:hi: Been reading here for years, but just started posting more regularly. Used to go to mixed boards, but I can't deal with right-wingers anymore. Their ignorance stopped being funny at some point. :banghead:
