It's how hard their corporate bosses press on them that they'd better support the right wing candidate. Matthews or any of them will respond when it's their own career on the line. I've noticed a slow change with Tweety over the past year. At first he was jealous of Olbermann and his surge in ratings...then it appears he either got a "talking to" or saw himself that the network and his ratings did better if he, too, started to cater to a Democratic/liberal audience.

Also, remember that NBC has been taking a lot of flack from Gramps and the right wing...a lot of it directed at Tweety...and add to that baggage the contempt Tweety must still feel for being used in the Plame case. It sure looks like his mancrush for Gramps has seen better days.
