1. Bwahahahaha
"He will have to figure out which of the seven kitchen tables to sit at" when considering his own economic future, Biden said — a blistering reference to McCain's embarrassing admission, particularly during a period of financial turmoil, that he didn't know how many homes he and his ultra-wealthy wife own.

5. I laughed so hard when he said that.
I love that we have a candidate who can and will say that kind of stuff. Leave the hope and change to Obama and let Biden nail the Republican's asses to the wall.

I'm lovin' Obama/Biden already!

card companies and he talks about someone having a few houses and a couple of kitchen tables. Oh boy, I am moved as a wine drinking liberal.

8. Speaking as a recent independent voter. Am I not allowed to post here.
I am just trying to point out that with more important issues facing America, I don't give a rats ass how many tables McCain has. If he can lower prices, cut my taxes and provide decent health care and keep this country strong, I don't care how many tables he has in his houses.

Which it sounds like you are.

17. Do you really think...
That McCain has any idea of what you face, any empathy for you, the prices you face and your health care? Do you really?

Have you learned nothing of the repukes over the last eight years?

23. Exactly.
Biden's attack proves that McCain is the true elitist. I don't know of any ordinary folks which McCain claims to be that own 7 homes. Biden's lack of wealth should help the campaign connect with working class & lower middle class voters that supported Hillary by large margins.

32. Well, you can vote for him then.
But I don't know why you think he'd be able to give you lower prices on anything, considering he's just another 8 years of the S.O.S. He's certainly not interested in giving you health care. And if by "keeping the country strong" you mean more wars, well, yeah, he's your guy.

7. Are you referring to McSame
as being old, too rich and out of touch? He is too old, too rich to relate to us and totally out of touch. The guy doesn't know how many homes they own like it's no big deal? Most of us are just out here trying to make our mortgages on ONE house. I really hope I misunderstood!

14. Keep Swinging
Here are some antiMcCain ads that Biden could do:

#1 Ad title:McCain The Hawk
Underscore with McCain singing:”bomb,bomb,bomb,
bomb,bomb,Iraq”
Sequenced series of McCain’s snarling, hawkish remarks:
…in Iraq for 100 years
…bomb Iraq
…aggression with Russia
…aggression with N Korea
…bomb Iran
…bomb Afghanistan
VoVoice over: McCain, THE ANGRY AMERICAN
Show McCain in a typical volatile pose
Voice over: Do you want an Angry American in the White House?
Show a red button, labeled “LAUNCH” /a hand moves to push the
button
Voiceover: Do you want McCain's hand on the button?

#2 Ad title:McCain Dishonor
Photo of McCain and Keating, close and chummy, fade in White
House image behind
Voice over: Honor among thieves is not the honor we are
looking for.

#3 Ad title:McCain Hero By Chance
Show McCain in ticker tape parade
Voice over: Hero by Chance
Show McCain turning away from his first wife and family
Voice over: Deception by Choice

16. This is so refreshing, I can't even tell you.
My fear (yep...CONCERN) was that the Obama camp would muzzle Joe. They run a tight ship to be sure, so I wasn't sure how far they'd let him go. but if it's anything like this, I'm gettin' a tour of the White House. I'm gettin' a tour of the White House. :woohoo:

39. Yes, the events are good news.
I'd prefer to be able to read about them without the right-wing bias, that's all.

This isn't the first time Liz Sidoti has pulled this shit. Please see here: http://mediamatters.org/columns/200807220006

And don't forget her infamous "Sprinkles" appearance with McCain: http://www.crooksandliars.com/2008/04/14/mccains-media-ap-reporters-give-john-mccain-doughnuts-at-their-event-thats-his-new-health-plan/

These people are our real enemy -- as long as this charade passes for news in this country, we are in deep shit.

35. What a piece of shit article that is!
Did any of you actually read it? It's a thinly veiled hatchet job on Biden by a hack at AP; this time it's Liz Sidoti.

"...though he left out details and cherry-picked quotes as he sought to make his case." No support of this appeared in the article.

" ...without backing up his assertions," Once again, it was Liz who failed to back up the assertion.

"Yet, Biden overlooked moves Obama has made to court the Democratic Party's liberal base and the Illinois senator's own recent flare-ups of hard-hitting politics. " All I can say to this is -- WHAT THE FUCK is that supposed to mean???

And when she quotes a McCain spokesman, she leaves out words like "insinuate" that she had associated with Biden's remarks and simply reported what the spokesman said.

The corporate media writes garbage that is so slanted to favor Republicans that far too many people don't even recognize that it's happening.

hard ones - they connect big time. And then Joe smiles and chuckles and never seems mean in the process. He knows Grampy, and how to push all of his buttons. Watching a regular guy like JB whale away at the real elitists is going to be a pleasure.
