I am overjoyed with the pick: Joe Biden
I'm sorry, I guess I'm not really conventional in most things. Sure, I was behind Barack and anyone he chose. I had even been leaning towards Hillary in recent days. But Biden is a fantastic pick, just really without peer. The "Press" will be pee-shy around him because of his penchant to spout inconvenient truths, he's a formidable attack dog, I mean, he himself alone could tear John McCain into five different directions based on anecdotes from the Senate. He's got all the experience, he's ready to step in if he must, the one thing the VP must contemplate.

I can't say how much how great it feels all of a sudden, for my pick to make it. I mean, does it really matter? Not really, but fuck goddam, Biden's going to rip some new assholes as the attack dog VP candidate. It's not about selling anymore, that has jack-shit to do with it. It's a matter of whether McCain can withstand the unrelenting withering attacks of truth-tell Joe Biden.

I can't get over it! I won't! I'll laugh my ass off all the way to the White House, bouyed by the Wit of Byden, and anchored by the Sense of Obama. Good God, I have hope again, boundless hope for what my country can achieve again, if we only just live up to the ideals laid out for us.

I couldn't be happier with Obama's pick.

4. The one thing that makes me slightly happy
about the Biden pick is that "Yes" response he made in the debates. I remember my ears pricking-up, and thinking: "Oh my gosh, a politician with the brains, and the nerve, to be witty!" If he brings some much-needed humor to this dull campaign, that in itself will be a blessing.

6. It really was a good pick.

No, Biden wasn't my top choice, but I have to say, Obama broke from tradition in he definitely didn't pick a watered-down milquetoast for VP. I'm actually really happy with the Biden pick, and am liking it more and more. I'm sure when he starts campaigning I'll love it. It is nice reading posts from Biden supporters who are absolutely thrilled with the pick. I'm getting to that point quicker than I thought.

I would also urge those of you who are thrilled, happy, okay, or even disappointed to send a 'Congratulations' to Biden (via the email from Obama probably sitting in your box right now), and donate! I did, and it will make you feel very good!

"Hey, Grandma! Have you come down to reality, yet?"

They are so excited, they can't stand it and knew I would be thrilled. They were especially happy to hear the connection to the 3:00 am call..."Who would you want to answer the 3:00 a.m. phone call?" or however it went. All of them were notified at a little after 3:00 on their cell phones.

Obama, you done did real guud!

Go, Joe! Go, Obama!

8. K&R I feel the same way. No politician is 100% in the same ballpark
as I am. No one can be "perfect". Joe Biden is about as close as they come and was my choice so I am thrilled. I am as happy about Biden as I was depressed with lieberman. Great day!

13. Here is a link to 25 issues and Biden's opinion. I think you will
find contrary information to what you have listed in regards to the Defense of Marriage Act and Tax cuts for the wealthy. Like I said, no politician, and they all are, is everything I want. One issue Biden has opposed * on was the 'surge' and that was big to me. Frankly, there are issues I do not like Sen. Obama's viewpoint on so...........one thing I know for certain and that is McSame is no choice at all. imho
