They're reading Hilary's response.

1. They Just Did On C-SPIN
And, of course, they're already "reading between the lines".

You're not missing much here...two radio asshats...sounds like the local version of Hannity and colmes...loudmouthed and ignorant "Conservative" and pussy-whipped "librul".

7. I pressed the remote on those two

Biden is a very good choice for the election campaign - not sure about after the election. I agree, he does have street cred. He will destroy those rich Rethugs in the debates and will expose McRealestate big time from now to November.

11. Something To Think About
I, too see Biden as being a very good choice. He's the bad cop to Obama's good cop. And, honestly, no matter who was chosen, someone was gonna be pissed. Imagine how wild this place would have been if Hillary had been named :shiver:

Just consider how the reaction to LBJ must have been for JFK supporters, but in the end, he was a valuable team player in getting a lot of good legislation pushed through. Biden could easily fit in a similar role.

13. I like the idea of Biden on the ticket
as I would have voted for him if given a chance in the primaries. Joe kicks ass and takes no prisoners, plus theres no sacred cows on his farm either.

16. I Stayed Neutral
I had the chance to see all the candidates at Yearly Kos last year...and came away impressed by certain qualities in each candidate, but also questions. I wanted to see the process play out and stay clear of the emotions that we've seen play out in GD-P.

The biggest problem with Joe...and I was very supportive of him in '88 and have always admired his work on Judiciary and Foreign Affairs, was his votes on the IWR and Bankruptcy bill. I couldn't support anyone, including Edwards, for their '02 vote...we went that route with Kerry and didn't want a replay of the "I was for it before I was against it" game. Senator Obama's experience was a major concern here...and he's my junior Senator...but I saw as the primaries progressed how together he and his campaign were.

I think Joe is a solid pick...he knows the system and the beltway and can be very useful in helping Obama get key legislation through. In specific, I see him in a pivotal role when a SCOTUS appointee in nominated.

Cheers...

17. Yep
he will be the key to the SCOTUS picks and as Cramer said he is not a Washington insider. He goes home to Delaware every night since 1973. He's also pro-Union and the railway men love him.

18. C-SPAN Is Now Running His August '07 Interivew
This is a very good program that others here should catch. He goes into his life story, including the death of his first wife and how he raised his sons on his own. He also lost a child. The show oozes the man's compassion...a quality I've always admired in the man.

...that more Americans would trust Mitt Romney to invest their money than anyone else running.

I really haven't missed him or the rest of that bunch during the past two weeks.

Edited on Sat Aug-23-08 09:58 AM by malaise
not one word about the McWar insider who just happens to be a lobbyist for that Georgian wacko.

This bit$h, Freeman, is announcing their October surprise.
Where is Pat Buchanan when I need him - damn I wrote that!
