he makes Rose look like some backwoods ignoramus spouting party doctrine.

Rose is always a bit of a putz, sort of like Larry King with a geek level IQ, and his interviews are always worth watching, but his ignorance re: Afghanistan, compared to Ahmadinejad, is rather embarrassing to watch for any who have more than half a clue about that country and the Afghan people.
