You're not mistaken if Gramps increasingly seems to be becoming a mix of Reaganesque confusion and Bushian idiocy (and confusion). Just the kind of guy repubs want to have a beer with, and vote for, in other words. I found a few references to some McCainisms and have listed them below. Feel free to add any I've left out.

Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) said in an interview Wednesday that he was uncertain how many houses he and his wife, Cindy, own.
