I've been looking into exactly what The Weather Undeground did and into the origins of the movement.
I came across this quote:

Yea, those are some real awful terrorists, letting people know before they set off an explosion.
I'm not going to say that I support their actions, but, when placed in the context of the times and in relation to other movements of the day, I can see why they did it. People today are too afraid to speak out against the tyrannical government, lest they be called "unpatriotic."
