The white powder scare at the McCain campaign headquarters in Denver..
was breaking news last night, and not a peep about this morning. I guess it was all bullshit. Gee, if I were a cynical person, I would say that they were trying to preemptively head off "Mansiongate".

1. The powder was found to be harmless ...
and the NH HQ didn't have any powder in it. It's reported that an immate in a facility in Colorado is responsible for it.

Heard this on NPR this morning - no links.

2. The sender was said to be in the Araphoe County jail
It was reported on our local Denver news this morning. I heard it on the radio. The guy is supposed to be a prolific letter writer.
