6. Someone mentioned Hardball - he'd be great on that
Better than Chris - even though I've met him and I like him

Matthews should be hosting the CBS Evening News

18. That would be good.
I know I'm in the minority around here, but I am an Abrams fan.

Happy about the news about Rachel tho.

20. Dan Abrams became general manager of MSNBC back in 2006
That is why he dropped his old show, The Abrams Report, that used to run (if I remember correctly) at the early time slot Hardball has now.

Farewell, but not goodbye
(Dan Abrams)

Well, this is it. As you may have heard, I have a new job ... running MSNBC.

I am thrilled about it and truly believe we have a unique opportunity to build on some of the successes the network has seen as of late.

I think he just started The Verdict to fill in while they hunted for another liberal host for the primetime slot following Keith. Frankly, he could not have done better than Rachel Maddow - she is terrific!

2. YEAH!!!!!! Is AAR going to give her another time slot?
I have to believe it's going to be hard to coordinate the two shows!

8. She's on now. She said if other people can work both radio and TV shows,
then she can, too.

Don't know about how she's going to handle it schedule-wise at AAR.

She wasn't expecting it.

clinched it. Some DUer posted that she creamed Orally in the time slot.

But that doesn't mean she won't change time slots.

Edited on Tue Aug-19-08 05:55 PM by TexasObserver
Gregory is terrible.

Give me Schuster-Olbermann-Maddow, and send Tweety packing. He's a joke.

23. If Tweety's health doesn't improve, her may have to retire
How long has he been out? Two or three weeks now? That does not sound good. And he has not looked healthy for a long time.

sucks as a host.

as long as they're shuffling people around I would love to see Sam Seder on my TV somewhere, sometime.
