Here's your chance to let the media know where the
people stand on our
faith in God, as a nation. NBC is taking a poll on 'In
God We Trust' to
stay on our American currency. Please send this to every
American you
know so they can vote on this important subject. Please do
it right
away, before NBC takes this off the web page. Poll is still
open so you can vote.

1. What really gets me
is that so many people say that having that on currency is not a violation of the 1st Amendment and is not a sign of our country not being secular, yet there are constantly shitty things like this where the discussion is about "our faith in god as a nation."

Theocracy creeps, people, it doesn't come with a bang.

8. Yes. But it doesn't bother me all that much.
Christian prayers at the beginning of government functions bother me a lot more. (As would any religious invocation, but in this case it's christian.)

Now if they are both part and parcel...then what the hell. Yes. Take it off. I would love for my government to be religion-free.

9. Doesn't Matter
What WILL Happen because of this is giving the right yet another bullshit talking point about how the Godless left is anti-American. Every time some ass-clown atheist pulls a stunt like this, it just does more damage to the left.
