Does Obama Know what he is Getting Into?
Does Barak know what he is about to inherit? Does he know how screwed up this planet is and what little hope of recovery there is? I wouldn't want to be in his shoes.. but I will vote for him. God speed.

2. Of course he knows.
He's a United States Senator. If he DOESN'T know the serious problems in this country right now, that would be almost criminally stupid and lazy. Which he most certainly is NOT.

4. I bet that most presidents don't realize the enormity of the nightmare they're
walking into.

5. That's the reason for the very, very, very large ego in presidents.
Modest, self-effacing people would rather let someone else do it.

6. I'll vote for him for sure but I really do wonder about the mental health of anybody who would want
to be POTUS. The money ain't all that good (unless there are 'fringe' benefits sub-rosa - which there probably always are) it has to be the lure of immense power that persuades people to jump into the cesspool of politics at the presidential level.
