Guards guilty in jail rape, allowed inmates to rape an 18-yr-old
Two former Grant County jail guards were found guilty Thursday of allowing inmates to rape an 18-year-old locked up overnight on traffic violations.

<snip> The victim, now 23, graphically described being stripped, hit with jail-issued flip-flops, raped in a shower and then paraded around half-naked.

He said his "nightmare" began when Pendleton County High School canceled classes because of snow Feb. 13, 2003.

The 10th-grader said he borrowed his father's car to drive to a friend's house and shoot some pool that day.

On the way home that night, a state trooper clocked him traveling about 35 mph over the limit on narrow, two-lane U.S. 27 in Pendleton County. The teen didn't stop but was eventually captured by Pendleton County sheriff deputies and jailed for attempting to flee.

<snip>The teen didn't remember guards making fun of his boxers, but did testify that they made fun of the blond highlights in his hair.

1. "I just want to go home," Freeman cried..."
Yeah, HotRod, but first you're gonna take a little detour.

I hope they make him bark like a dog.

9. HE was a guard with the power and responsibility to protect inmates from harm
HE did not protect that teenager from brutal rape.

HE deserves jail, and *if* some other inmates choose to use him as a sex toy - well - he didn't protect the boy, did he?

10. No
I hope he gets killed.

He was a guard, for God's sake.

If that 18 year-old kid had been one of my sons, the son of a bitch would never had made it to trial.

11. I hope...
they kill him in prison.

He was supposed to take care of that kid. That's why they call them "Guards".

4. prison guards are the lowest of the low
it doesn't sit too well that the head guard got a relative slap on the wrist. These two aren't scapegoats, but the guiltiest party is getting a proportionately lighter sentence.

13. Not only should he be let free to go - they should fire that entire staff
on duty that night, make all of them pay him $1,000,000 out of their own pockets, and the Police Department should be forced to pay him an additional $5 million in damages.

This kind of anti-human behavior is beyond unacceptable. It is an abomination of our species.
