Harrods is now stocking a luxury range of 'ballistic daywear' for patrons who fear they are in the firing line.

A Columbian entrepreneur, Miguel Caballero, came up with the idea for the range as student while pondering how to protect his wealthy classmates from guerrilla revolutionaries.

King Abdullah of Jordan, Venezuela's President, Hugo Chavez, and Columbia's President, Alvaro Uribe, are all said to be fans of the range alongside actor Steven Segal, star of the bullet-riddled action film Under Siege.

The line includes a polo shirt, a blazer, a sports jacket, a biker jacket and a raincoat. It is made-to-measure and priced between £3,300 and £7,700.

Tough enough to withstand fire from automatic weapons, the clothing is also reportedly unobtrusive enough to be worn at parties.

8. When asked about his philanthropy, Carnigie said If I don't give it away, they'll come and take it
Which pretty much sums up why the free-marketeers (previously known as Robber-Barons) and their "It's just Biddness" have a lot to fear.

4. Their #1 reason is that "It's THEIR MONEY, and they want to keep it!"
Their ultimate goal is to pay NO TAXES AT ALL! All I can say is, "Thank God they aren't the majority in the US!

5. You know it's only class warfare if we ask for fairness.
“Among conservatives there's been too much pseudo-populism, almost too much concern and attention for, quote, 'the people'... After all, we conservatives are on the side of the lords and barons... We...are pulling up the drawbridge against the peasants.”
- William Kristol

But they better sleep with their eyes open.

6. Given King Abdullah's moderation and the
number of Wahhabist/Qutbist nuts running around his general geographic neighborhood, I can't say as how I blame him.

7. Eat the rich. Or so says a great bumper sticker. I also love the idea of the wealthy parasites
living in fear for their lives.

Let them retreat behind their gated communities and stay there. We would be so much better off without them.

9. In the "patron" system, the peasants were kept quiet because of
their absolute dependence on the rancher on whose lands they worked and lived on. The patron could evict them or even kill them if he could concoct a good enough excuse like self defense and no one ever really investigated the murders of cocky peons. Nowadays, they can't keep the peasants as docile as in the past, so sure, they are afraid, but not afraid enough to stop taking the risk of having 100 or so dependent families hate your guts.

10. Sort of. They're afraid we'll kill 'em AS food.
I say, good. A little gut-wrenching fear of the unwashed masses might do their souls good.

And it'll help tenderize the meat, too.

11. Nobody cares about Steven Segal.
But I wouldn't be surprised if Al Pacino is getting his order in. Is he down to one bodyguard yet?
