CSpin this morning WJ - Russia v the US - new cold war?
CSpin has a classic formula - collect the disinformation from the corporate media and then open the phones to discuss the propaganda. :puke:

Let me hear the callers.

4.  Typical Myopic C-SPIN Framing
They typical corporate media view that the U.S., and especially they, are the center of the universe. Two weeks ago, if you had asked a majority of these people where Georgia was, they'd be hard-pressed to find Atlanta on a map. Now we're all "experts".

And, there's no mention of the neo-con influence in this mess...I've got a bright shiny dime for the first C-SPINner to bring up Randy Schuermann or the Yalta meeting that their good buddy the Rover (along with Bob Shrum) along with Shikavilli were at (instead of testifying in front of Congress)...but if we are to connect those dots, we're just "conspiracy nuts".

Get ready, I expect this morning will be a classic...C-SPIN shows their true right wing colors more and more every day.

:hi:

6. I'm Ready To Send Some Scortching Email
I rarely bother with these goons...as the old saying goes "Why bother with a sick mind"...but this network needs to be shamed into the bias they have and let them know their viewers are aware of it...that they AREN'T a "public service"...but the tool of a corporate media that is firmly in the tank for Gramps and his neo-con handlers.

8. They Have These Hacks On Speed Dial
I'm trying to remember the last time they had anyone from the Center For American Progress On...or any "Progressive" think tank.

The one "good" thing about C-SPIN it they expose the right wing corporate welfare system...the "shadow government" that has perverted the political discourse with their "experts" and never is there any true full disclosure of who funds these hacks and who they're really working for.

You can just see the right wing getting all hot and bothered...they got their beloved "Cold War" back...they've built that bridge to the 20th Century.

10. russians just trying to help
If they get outside of South ossetia than just because they are lost

They were there for so long but just forgot to bring maps

They always wanted to see the coast so maybe they just wander over there too
because well they are here now might as well help them also even if they were not part of the south ossetia a some other sounds the same I guess

Now they don't have gas to go home so they just help themselves to
the oil pipeline so they can get home

But its so nice country so maybe they will just stay because they don't have maps to get home

poot pot head is just trying to help

yeah that's the ticket just trying to help

11. So Russia Was Bad Cause It Was Communist...Now Its Bad Cause Its Capitalist...
I just look back at the opportunities squandered with Russia...the wet dreams of the right wing to create boogiemen to rachet up fear. Since the "Islamofascist" is no longer working, it's time to bring back that ugly Russian bear.

I just wonder if Pootie did a double-cross on crashcart on oil deals and this is the result.

Called it as it was...most the callers are seeing behind the mask here. Methinks this August surprise could really backfire on Gramps.

14. It isn't 1950 anymore, nothing like 1950 anymore.
Just saying. The US now is nothing like what we were then, and neither is Russia. Whatever is happening, it will not be a new cold war.
