"Rush is a big fat idiot" I think.

This is big news today because Newt admits it?

4. Newt has had 3 wives
and he cheated on wife Number One with Wife Number 2.

He served Wife Number One with divorce papers as she was lying in bed recovering from surgery (cancer).

and he cheated on wife Number 2 with Wife Number 3.

Al wrote about Newt's affairs in "Lies, and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them".

7. Divorces a wife while shes battling cancer.
I've been married for 40 years, I ain't highly educated, I'll never be rich and famous, and I've had my run ins with the law for drinkin' and druggin' in younger years past; But I'm positive I'm much more better of a man than Newt Gingrich will ever be; But then again, that ain't sayin' much.

3. I thought everyone
knew it. He was seen in the parking lot with the much younger staff member getting the same treatment the Big dog got. Gingrich is such a pig. Guess he didn't admit that he broke up with both wives when they were ill. The story that wife no.2 had just been diagnosed with MS has gone quietly into the wind.
Maybe she wasn't in the hospital but it is a pattern. Wife #3 don't get sick. You too could be gone.

5. This affair has long been well known...he married her after all
The press knew she was on his payroll before she was sharing his last name. Not tough to verify.

I just can't remember if the second wife was the one sick with cancer in the hospital when he served her with divorce papers or if that was his first wife.

The only reason there is a story here is because this was a PR attempt to atone with the Wingnuts. He went on Dobson's Crazy Religious Fun Happy Hour radio show with a set up question in the barrel from Dobson to allow him the opportunity to float his acknowledgment and 'acceptance of responsibility' to see if it placated the sheep or not. If no, he can't run...but if the Morons buy it, he's gonna run - not for the Presidency (not gonna happen) but for some post for which he can sell his constituency.

6. This is old news that came out right after he left congress
....The guy is smart and not to be under estimated. He did what Clinton is probably wishing he had done which is come clean as soon as he was caught. The whole thing would have blown over with nothing more than the usual finger pointing and name calling, but that's it. The details would have never come out about the cigar and how the dress got stained. History would only record that he had an affair while in office. BFD. Gingrich just neutralized the Christian right and left on this topic all in one fell stroke and left them nowhere to go.

Here's another thing to worry about. Nobody currently in the race can out debate him and that gives him a huge hunk of the middle where the ultimate decision is made. "Newty" can sell upright freezers in an Eskimo village. His skills as a college history professor will prove to be a sword worth fearing.

8. Reality is. Newt is an experienced womanizer. Clinton is a bumbling schoolboy.

Slick Willy my ass. He was so scared he couldnt do any more than a little oral sex and some other weird hanky panky in his office. this with a girl who was throwing herself all over him and ready to go?
Clinton as some playboy that did Paula and all these other women is a republican fantasy. They dreamed it up.
If he HAD actually been this sex machine he would have known how to get a girl into a bed for some actual serious action and wouldnt have had such a miserable time keeping it from his wife and daughter, who Im sure, made him pay dearly for it, and i believe he really did feel bad.

Judging from how Bill handled the Monica situation, I would venture to say that that is possibly the only affair he ever had.
And he got impeached for it, by a chronic adulterer.

9. Here.
The rundown, all the way back to a pre-1977 extramarital blowjob:

It's big news today because the little cretin has to be absolved by the Radical Right before he can run for Prez.
