I wish people would stop with the Edwards thing
It's getting like the MSM here. The only thing that troubles me is that he was able to shine on family values yet there was not a hint or clue. I does re-enforce all politicans are willing to hold back and lie.

That is the troubling part but understandable.

I am more concerned about this Russia attack and another war and the high hopes people have of Obama saving the world. Let alone how the Dems have shown they are not working for the people and yet many people still trust them.

We seem to have huge problems and they get worse like the carriers headed toward the gulf and this american economy.

The Olympics can also go sour but this is yet another issue.

We seem to be reaching the tipping point at a rapid pace yet do nothing to alter the course. Hope is not going to cut it.

It keeps it going ....

Yeah .. I know ... You had to say it ....

I am headed out of here .... It is a beautiful sunny day in Portland Oregon (interspersed with variable clouds) ... they closed the Willamette bridges until noonish for bike riders and walkers ... I am going to enjoy that ....

Then: BarBQ and Olympics sounds REAL good .....

Maybe even some housework ....

I promise I will not stab tiny voodoo dolls with Edwards picture stapled to the face while I am gone ....

I still love and admire John Edwards .... even with his frailties and weaknesses .... He speaks for me ....

4. Its starting to get less play

The bottom line is this story has to 'run its course'...Edwards was not in any position of power...he won ONE major election in his liftime and was going to lose the NC Senate seat in 2004, so he hoped on the Kerry wagon and lost, then he ran again in 2008 and lost.

He was just a regular citizen lying and cheating on his wife, happens every day. And because he is a fraud and a liar he will remain a regular citizen and thankfully will never see the light of day in any public service capacity again.

This story will move along in time, in short time, because John Edwards is of little interest anymore. From 'rising star' of the Democratic Party to the trash heap of history. In 10 years, his name will be completely erased from the memory banks of this nation...he did nothing, he accomplished nothing, and he lead the fools down the primrose path to Suckverville. Next memo? Find a better man to rally behind

9. Oh, YOU again. My favorite pot-stirrer.
He indicated he didn't know about any money going to her. Do you have PROOF otherwise??

10. Not Edwards, but what people do with PAC money.
Just being real and telling it how I see it.

If you think it won't come up, then you can choose to believe that. But I think it would be a head in the sand sort of thing.

11. He also indicated with a straight face for months that news of the affair was "tabloid trash"
I don't think it is prudent to take him at his word on anything these days.

Especially regarding this matter, which he has already admitted to lying and attempting to cover up the incident.
