Of course, George Will changed the subject (Edwards infidelity).
Today on This Week Georgie abruptly changed the subject during the discussion of the Edwards affair. "I don't want to talk about that" he said and then proceeded to talk about the MSM's coverage or lack thereof of the scandal.

No wonder. Here's a guy whose wife, when she found out about his affair, put his clothes out on the front lawn of their house with a note telling him he was outta there (essentially). Gotta love her!

1. You know what George Will uses for birth control?
His personality.

That's a riff on an old joke, but it does occur to me that Will prides himself in being "perfect." Which if you believe he IS perfect I guess gives him the right to condemn Democrats on "moral grounds."

I don't find George Will's unswerving support for Ronald Reagan, Poppy, and Republicans in general to be "moral" at any level and so needless to say I don't accept his observations on John Edwards.

Will is a talented writer just as Leni Riefenstahl was a talented film-maker.

2. He clearly DIDNT want to talk about Edwards. He looked very uncomfortable
since he knew that everyone around that table knew about his affair with Lally Weymouth and his wife's very public "outing" of him. He must have been so humiliated that he has shut up forever about the subject of ANYBODY's marital infidelity...

3. Well there ya go.
I just have a reflexive disregard for Will after all those years of shilling for Reagan.

5. Oh, me too! I haven't forgotten.
I tell that little story about his affair whenever I get the chance. Sorta my way of taking revenge.

that there are actually two women on this planet who would sleep with George Will. :scared:

8. Some women fall for that faux intelligentsia type.
I noticed he dropped a French word to describe Obama on the program today ("languere" to describe Obama's pose).

9. It was embarrassing. You could tell the guy was uncomfortable, shifting in his seat a bit,
being a little fidgety, trying to affect boredom. Heh, nice try buddy but there enough of us who've got the goods on you...
