....but the child is not my son!
after hearing edwards deny the kid is his, the michael jackson tune, billie jean, popped into my head.

so how come the MSM is having an orgasm over edwards' affair but they say nothing about mccain leaving his wife for the trollop?

12. One is news, the other is olds, in fairness.
Edwards' affair has just come out; McCain's divorce is old news, and hence not newsworthy.

14. That question could be answered in two ways.
Edited on Fri Aug-08-08 05:33 PM by Donald Ian Rankin
Neither *should* have any relevance whatsoever to the presidential race; people should vote on "ability to run the country", not "sexual fidelity".

Edwards's affair *will* probably have more impact on the presidential race, because it's new news and because the Republicans will make more of it than the Democrats will of McCains'.

15. Because Edwards' incident is more recent, nor is he the presumed candidate?
Just a guess; but the media loves to harp on any politician or "celebrity" (they don't even sing or act; "celebrities" nowadays just look pretty and act like vermin).

Doesn't make McCain's actions right either, but there is a valid, albeit warped, context here.

That or it's because nobody has found any dish for Obama yet. :silly:
