McCain had an affair, too, right? When he was "transitioning" marriages?

it's our chance to get that info out, given the upcoming spin...

though I must say, as someone who was an early Edwards supporter, I'm having a "WTF was he thinking?" moment myself....

Dems need to know that *all* their dirty shit *will* be brought up in the corporate media -- while rugs and fire retardant will be thrown over every act of GOP malfeasance.

So as it turns out, it's a damn good thing he's not our nominee...

sigh, eyes roll, etc., etc...

1. Hell, Martin Luther King had an affair.
So if you want to discount an American hero on the basis of a personal flaw, be my guest.

2. Not sure what "discounting" you're referring to, unless you mean McCain's a hero to you?
As for Edwards, regardless of how you or I might feel about it, the revelation now that he had an affair would be an unmitigated disaster were he the nominee.

3. Now we all know why Edwards suspended so suddenly last January.
And for some tramp, too.

I don't understand what happens to men (and women) who cheat on their spouses. WTF, John?

7. I was afraid then that the rumors were true..

I just wonder about the timing of the information coming out. When he met with both the Clintons and Obama privately, I'm sure they were told. I truly wonder if the Dems have got something hot, and they want to get this out first.

5. But when a repub does it, it's a youthful indescretion..
Let's see how many self-righteous hypocritical assholes come out of the wood work to dump on Edwards. I can't wait to hear Senator McCain's comments. If he's smart he won't touch it with a 10 foot pole, but we know he's not particularly smart. I hope the Dems oppo research is loaded for bear this time.

8. Not only that, it happened while McCombover was still a naval officer
under the UCMJ, adultery is considered "conduct unbecoming an officer". Yet for some reason this factoid is not on multiple cable channels 24/7. Hmmmm....
